It’s been about a year since I opened this site, which is pretty cool. It’s really helped host files for friends and not having to deal with crappy image hosting sites or file hosting registration or anything like that. I have nothing better to do since most of my closer friends are at band camp, so here I am updating my blog with nothing to say.

I went to Garrett’s about a week ago to hang out and we made a couple videos that were posted on his channel, “Reverseness 4” and “Clean Up Next Time“, both of which are pretty lame, but definitely fun to make. If you have a YouTube account, subscribe to his channel! (And mine if you haven’t :S)

Oh, one of my videos “Session” had the music removed by WMG because of the music in it. Which is what the entire video is based on. I probably don’t have to tell you about record companies’ recent acts against copyrighted music being put into YouTube videos, but basically they’re removing audio from an ENTIRE video with copyrighted music in it, even if it’s only a 5 or 10 second clip in a 5 minute video. Most people would blame this on YouTube when, in fact, it’s WMG, Sony, BMG, EMI, etc. fault. What also is being affected are Guitar Hero videos. It’s stupid how the artists AND record companies license a song to be put into a game, but will pull it down in a second if it’s included in a video of someone playing that game. Pah.

It doesn’t seem like it, but I still use this domain/hosting. Mainly for uploading files and stuff that I need to move around. It’s pretty convenient since I don’t have to use crappy sites like Rapidshare or Megaupload to upload stuff. I also gave David 10 gigs of hosting space just for the sake of him having to use crappy hosting sites to host his files he wanted to show me. I got him set up with FTP too so he doesn’t have to use crappy web-based uploaders. I guess through the process I’ve learned a little bit about how to do stuff, but whatever. What kind of sucks is that I get a bunch of spam comments that just say random words to get past spam filters and links to some BS medicine and cures for deaths.

Blah. The lack of videos is kind of annoying to myself, but I’ve come to realize that making videos usually is done by having an idea while talking to someone like Garrett or Kyle or something. Also, Jazz band is really irritating and I never really look forward to it, but I guess I’m in it for the rest of the semster -.-

Added a little gradient at the top of each page just for a little taste of Web 2.0-ness. I used images on the homepage because not all compys have the font I used, and overall it looks smoother. There are 2 problems. The first one, is that the homepage content isn’t actually centered. It isn’t even using width/height values, but simply “

…” etc. which is kind of lame but it looks alright on every computer ive seen it on. The second problem is that theres this small grey 1 pixel line between the gradient and the black background. I’ve seen other pages that have the same so it might just be a CSS bug? Anyway, I’m getting too boring. School is a breeze now that I actually do all my homework.

New Site Design

Not like it’s a real design, anyway. The brainfailure was getting a little old so I decided I’d just stick with the regular, old, simplistic website design. What I hate about embedding YouTube videos onto a page is that they don’t have the ability to easily comment or rate the video from the site. It would be really stupid to just link to the videos though. Anyway, the new video was really fun to make and I think that my future video making skillz will improve, and not 100% of the videos won’t suck. I also decided that it would be really wise to not act like I’m in a much higher position that I am (Like “Kbiscu1t Productions” and the like…), stop aiming to be popular, and just make and post videos just because it’s really fun to make these videos. Writing a scipt, I think, would kind of milk the fun out of making the videos since most of the videos that me and my friends make are pretty much 90% improv. Coolz then, I’ll post updates on stuff occasionally.

New epic site design showcasing Morgann’s awesome drawi–*AHEM*–PICTURE she took when a dragon was outside her window. I think I’m going to have a site archive so people who don’t get to witness the brain failure inducer get to after the site has become extremely famous.

www.Kbiscu1t.com is finally registered! I’ve made many sub-domain and / blogs that just get boring to write and boring to read. I have no idea what to post on the blog, or even the main domain. Anyway, thats all I hafta say right now.
